Antonio Brown's Watch Collection
Today we are discovering the watch collection of Antonio Brown, current Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver. The American Football Player's watch collection contains mainly two brands, a Swiss and an American but also a custom made piece. So let's start off with this last one.
Custom made Rolex
Antonio in this picture is spotted wearing his new Rolex Submariner made by Skeleton Concept in collaboration with the American player. The base of the watch is a Rolex Submariner reference 116610LV, also known as the "Hulk". The changes made are the dial which has been skeletonized and in addition to that the 12 number in the date window has been personalized with some orange details, 12 also occurs to be antonio's shirt number as a player. Other changes are the open case-back, modified crown and an orange velcro strap. This custom product is limited in production to 55 pieces.
Antonio's Love For Richard Mille
Antonio Brown seems to really like Richard Mille, in fact we are going to see multiple timepieces from this Swiss brand in his collection. This is the first one and it's a Richard Mille RM11 'FM' NTPT. This watch with the classic tonneau-shaped case, has been produced using a Quartz TPT material. To obtain this result Richard Mille fuses purified ground quartz crystals, in order to get long continuous fibers of fused quartz that are then put together using resin. The result is amazing and unique. As usual the dial of this watch is completely skeletonized, and in this case the date is oversized. The watch also features a Flyback chronograph and a 60 minute countdown timer functionality .The list price of this watch is around 170.000 USD dollars while the market value is estimated to be around 500.000 USD dollars.
Antonio Brown's Richard Mille RM 11
Here again with another Richard Mille: in this spot the American Football player is wearing a Richard Mille RM 11-04. This reference is known to be made in collaboration with the Italian football manager Roberto Mancini. The idea was to create a timepiece that could track half-time, extra time and overtime of a football match (soccer), and this functionality has been then paired with a flyback function. This time the case is a Carbon TPT case, renowned for its resistance to cracks and splits. The list price of this watch is 205.000 USD dollars but on the market, it can be found starting from about 500.000 USD dollars.
Antonio Brown's Split Seconds Richard Mille
As the last Richard Mille in Antonio's watch collection, we kept the Richard Mille RM 65-01. This timepiece is made with a combination of 18 karat white gold and carbon NTPT. This watch also features the first "inhouse" automatic winding split seconds chronograph by Richard Mille. The split seconds complication is one of the hardest complications to manufacture, it allows the wearer to track two events that have the same beginning but that do not stop at the same time. The retail price of this watch sits at 344.000 USD dollars while on the market this timepiece can be bought starting from 650.000 USD dollars.
Antonio Brown's Jacob & Co. Watch Collection
Another brand that Antonio seems to quite enjoy is the American Jacob & Co. The first watch of this brand in Antonio's collection is the Jacob & Co. Epic X Chrono reference EC313.21.SB.BG.C. This timepiece is made of titanium and has been Black DLC coated. This watch features a chronograph function as well as a second crown at the 10-hour mark to manage the internal rotating bezel. The watch's dial is black with a red accent on the seconds hand and various green accents. The watch also features a Fluo Green rubber strap. The list price of this watch is about 30.000 USD dollars.
Antonio Brown's Heavy Hitters
Now it's time for some heavy hitters by Jacob & Co. The first one, is the Jacob & Co Astronomia Art "Green Dragon". This incredible Timepiece by Jacob & Co. features a flying tourbillon and two 3D green dragon figures. The watch is also adorned with baguette diamonds. This watch is quite a large one to wear with his 47mm in case diameter, but who owns this watch should like that others notice it. The list price of this piece is set at 1.3 million USD dollars.
Antonio's Jacob & Co Bugatti
The second watch by Jacob & Co. is the Jacob & Co Bugatti Chiron Tourbillon. This watch limited to 72 pieces is made in 18 karat Rose gold. This crazy timepiece features inside an even crazier movement that is unique in its style. in fact, this watch has a complex automaton inside it that aims to mimic the functionality of the W16 engine of the Bugatti Chiron. If you ever see one you could admire the 16 pistons of the engine that go up and down in the crankshaft as in the real car. Such a beauty doesn't come cheap, in fact this watch retails at around 450.000 USD dollars.
Jacob & Co. An offer Antonio Can't Refuse
In this last spot Antonio has been spotted with Jacob & Co. owner Jacob Arabo, in his store in New York, where he picked up his Jacob & Co. Opera Godfather. This watch, made in 18 karat Rose Gold has incredible capabilities: in fact this watch can mechanically reproduce the stirring theme music of the masterpiece movie "The Godfather", thanks to the two barrels on the dial, which are in this version adorned with diamonds. If that is not enough the timepiece also features a triple-axis gravitational tourbillon. The list price of this incredible watch sits around 420.000 USD dollars.
